If we had to pick one word to describe Park Circle, it would be eclectic. Why? Well how else do you describe a historic spot that revamps itself into a bustling, friendly neighborhood that specializes in good times and great people?
Between the actual park, all 30-plus-acres of it, the food, ranging from salads to smoked meats, and the events, you’ll never be bored in Park Circle.
At your home in The Factory at Garco Park, you’re in the middle of it all. Wake up on Saturday morning and grab a latte at The Orange Spot Coffeehouse. Once you’re caffeinated, you’ll be ready to spend some time outdoors! Try the disc golf course that surrounds the Park Circle traffic circle. The course boasts 18 tee boxes and 18 baskets, meaning there are over 300 possible course combinations.
Once you’ve tried all 300 of them (or just one, we won’t judge), head back to your Factory apartment to get cleaned up. Hit Stems and Skins for a glass of wine before dinner. Try scoping out Eater Charleston’s Park Circle section for ideas on the hottest new restaurant in your area.
Throughout the year, Park Circle plays host to some stellar events. There’s the Oktoberfest, hosted by Palmetto Brewery, the epic St. Paddy’s Day Block Party, complete with a parade, live music, and of course, Guinness, and the Rock-A-Bill-Que outdoor block party, to name a few.
We love being a part of this community. Be sure to check The Factory blog often for updates on what’s going on in the area!
