Wondering what to do over the long weekend? Your team at The Factory has got you covered with tons of great tips on what to do at your apartment, in Park Circle, and throughout Charleston!
On Friday evening, Factory residents are starting off Memorial Day Weekend with America’s pastime at the Charleston RiverDogs baseball game! The game against the Greenville Drive starts at 7:05 at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park (or, ‘the Joe’). Factory apartment residents and staff will be there in our orange Factory sunglasses. If you’re going to the game, come say hi!
With a clear weather forecast, Saturday is the perfect day for some outdoor activities. Throw on your swimsuits, grab your coolers, and head out to Isle of Palms for a day on the beach. Your apartment at The Factory is just 20 minutes from IOP! If you’re looking for a little extra entertainment while you’re out there, it doesn’t get much better than eating fresh seafood and listening to live music right on the water. Head to Coconut Joe’s Bar and Grill for both!
If you want to be outside but you’d rather stay away from the crowds, just head downstairs to The Factory’s saltwater pool. It’s the perfect getaway destination that happens to be right at home for our residents! Fire up one of the four gas grills in the outdoor kitchen next to the pool and enjoy some grub on the patio.
On Sunday, treat yourself to a delicious brunch in Park Circle. Head to Factory favorite DIG in the Park for brunch burgers, tacos, draft beers, and more! There’s a huge, eat-in patio, outdoor bar, and game space with giant jenga, corn hole, and ladder ball.
Monday is a time to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. The Salute to Service Concert will take place just minutes away from your apartment at Riverfront Park in North Charleston. At this country music event you’ll enjoy performances by Lee Brice, A Thousand Horses, Logan Mize, and Dalton & the Sheriffs. The event starts at 4:00 pm and will also host tons of food trucks including Rebel Taqueria, Gelati Moto, Dashi, Mac Daddy, and Platia Food Truck.
